• Softball Pitcher at Afton High School, Pitched 23 No-Hitters
• Press & Sun Bulletin Athlete of the Year – 1978


Nancy Bromley

• Initiated and Coached Field Hockey at Greene High School for over 25 Years
• Won 3 NYSPHSAA State Championships; Won over 300 Games (Career)
• Inducted into NYSPHSAA Section IV and Greene HS Hall Of Fames
• Listed in Sports Illustrated’s “Faces In The Crowd” Issue of November 28th, 1994


Bill Chanecka

• Played Pro-Basketball for 14 Years with Wilkes-Barre in the EBL and AL
• Named 2X as AL MVP and as an All-Star
• Named as a member of the CBA’s 50th Anniversary All-Time Team
• Basketball Player on Binghamton Central High School’s Undefeated Team in 1942-43


Steve Chomyszak

• Professional NFL Football Player as Defensive Lineman
• AFL – New York Jets (1966-’67) and NFL – Cincinnati Bengals (1968-’73)
• Played Football and Competed in Track & Field at Syracuse University
• Played Football at Johnson City High School


Kelsey Green

• Football Coach at Chenango Forks HS (117-19 Record in 12 Seasons
• At CFHS Won 7 Straight NYSPHSAA Section IV Championships (84-6)
• At CFHS Won the NYSPHSAA Football Companionship in 2003, 2004
• At CFHS Won the NYSPHSAA Softball Championship in 1994


Bob Holbert

• Played Pro Baseball with the San Francisco Giants Minor League Affiliates
• Elected to NYSPHSAA Section IV Hall Of Fame in 1979
• Led JCHS to the STAC Baseball Championship in 1964 and Batted .462
• Played Baseball, Basketball and Football at Johnson City High School


Jim Hoover

• Coached Football at Walton HS for 41 Seasons – Career Record of 3181-85-1 (4th in NYS)
• At Walton HS Won the NYSPHSAA Football Championship 1996 and 2007
• 5 Undefeated Seasons (1987, ’89, ’91, ’94 and 2007)
• Inducted into the NYSPHSAA Section IV Hall Of Fame in 2009


Sara Patterson

• Head Women’s Gymnastics Coach at University of Alabama (1979-2014) Career: 382-88-2
• 6 NCAA Championships; 8 SEC Conference Championships; 29 NCAA Regional Titles
• NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Coach of the Year (4X); SEC Women’s Coach of the Year (4X)
• Inducted into Alabama Sports Hall Of Fame in 2003


John Schultz

• Played Professional Football in NFL with the Denver Broncos
• Co-Captain of the Denver Broncos in Superbowl XII (1977)
• Played Football for the University of Maryland; MVP in Senior Year
• Played Football and Baseball at Vestal HS; STAC All-Conference in Football


Jerry Skonieczki

• Played Football as a Wide Receiver at Syracuse University (1956-1960)
• Member of Syracuse University’s 1959 National Football Champions
• Inducted into NYSPHSAA Section IV Hall of Fame in 1978
• Played Footbll, Basketball, and Baseball at Johnson City HS; New York All-State in Football

• Little League Baseball World Series Champion – 2016
• Won the 2016 Jack Losch Little League Baseball World Series Team Sportsmanship Award
• Overall Undefeated Season Record of 24-0
• 1st New York Team (Since 1964) and 1st USA Team (Since 2011) to Win the LLBWS
